Hej! Det här är jag, Kicki Ljung, tillsammans med två Wheaten terriers ur min uppfödning, Crispas Cliffhanger och SUCH RUCH Crispas Bushman.

Jag bor, tillsammans med mina söner Robin och Tobias i Arbrå, som är ett trevligt litet samhälle i Hälsingland som ligger ca 30 mil norr om Stockholm. Jag föder upp hundar av rasen Irish Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier i hemmiljö och har ca en kull om året. Här följer en presentation av kennel Crispas historia.

Hi! This is me, Kicki Ljung, together with two Wheaten terriers from my kennel: Crispas Cliffhanger and SUCH RUCH Crispas Bushman.

I live in Arbrå, who is a pleasant tiny village in Hälsingland about 300 kilometres north of Stockholm. The family consist of, apart from my self, my two boys Robin and Tobias. I breed Irish Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier in home interior and have about one litter every year. Here follow a short presentation of the kennel Crispa's history.

Jag har alltid levt med hundar. Den första alldeles egna hunden var en schäfer, Väktarens Frida. I början av 80-talet var vi flitiga besökare på Sandvikens Brukshundklubb där vi tränade och tävlade lydnad.

I have allways lived with dog's. My very first own dog was a German shepherd, Väktarens Frida. In the beginning of the eighties we were diligent visitors at the Sandviken Working dog club there we practise and competed obedience. 

I slutet av 80-talet fick jag syn på en bild av en Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier i Svenska Kennelklubbens medlemstidning Hundsport. En mjuk och lurvig hund stod och spejade från en båt och jag kände hur det klickade till i hjärtat på mej. Allt sedan dess har min kärlek till rasen varit oavbruten. Mjuk och gosig på utsidan, tuff och självsäker på insidan. På den tiden kallades rasen för "softis" och rasen hade börjat bli makalöst populär. 1991 fanns i Sverige 58 stycken uppfödare av rasen, till skillnad mot ca. 140 st. idag 2008. I dag heter rasen Irish Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier och kallas till vardags för "wheaten".

Min första Wheaten terrier var SUCH Brösing's Up-Stage-Boy (SUCH, NUCH, INTUCH, USCH Carlinyer Buffalo Bill - Mio's-Madonna). Han kom till mej 1989 från Ingrid Olsen, kennel Brösing's och blev far till tre kullar.

In the end of the eighties I saw a picture of a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier in the Swedish Kennel clubs magazine "Hundsport". A soft and shaggy dog standing and looked out from a boat and I felt how it said click in my heart. Since then my love to the breed has been uninterrupted. Soft and cuddly on the outside, tough and self-confident on the inside. At the moment the breed was called "softis" and the breed had started to be enormously popular. At 1991 there were 58 breeders, today (2008) we are about 140. Today is the breeds name Irish Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and we call them "wheatens" on weekdays.

My first Wheaten terrier was SUCH Brösing's Up-Stage-Boy (SUCH, NUCH, INTUCH, USCH Carlinyer Buffalo Bill - Mio's-Madonna). He came to me 1989 from Ingrid Olsen, kennel Brösing's and became father of three litters.

Mitt intresse för att börja med avel hade vaknat på allvar. Därmed köpte jag in min tilltänkte avelstik SUCH Brösing's Kinnity (IECH, SUCH Ballysax Bounty - SUCH Classical-Jazz) och kennelnamnet Crispas registrerades. Namnet är en kombination av mina förnamn: Cristiina och det finskklingande namnet Sirpa. Vid höftledsröntgen visade det sig tyvärr att hon hade lindriga pålagringar (C) varför hon ej kom att gå i avel.

My interest for breeding had stirred in seriously. With that I bought my proposed breeding bitch SUCH Brösing's Kinnity (IECH, SUCH Ballysax Bounty - SUCH Classical-Jazz) and the kennel name Crispas were registered. The name in a combination of my first names: Cristiina and the finnish resounding name Sirpa. At the x-ray it showed unfortunately that she had minor dysplasia (C) why she never been bread from. 

Med tiken Brösing's Taxfree For Crispas (DKUCH Larnook Gleanngay Icehot - SUCH Brösings Fantasy Dancer) fick jag så äntligen min första kull 1997. Dock blev hon allvarligt sjuk och dog strax efter sin första och enda kull. Att fortsätta avla på hennes avkommor (A-kullen) var inte att tänka på så det blev till att köpa in en ny avelstik.

Howerver she became seriously sick and died short after her first and only litter. Keep on breeding on her offsprings (A-kullen) wasn't to think about so the only way for me was to buy a new breeding bitch.

Brösing's Good Hopes For Gold (SUCH Brösing´s Invisible Mix - Hamkel Hannah´s Hope) kom till kenneln 1998 och fick två kullar (B och C kullen). Hon är bland annat mamma till den berömde SUCH RUCH Crispas Bushman.

2004 kom Lindywheat's Chill Out Shiraz (INT, NORD, S, FIN, D, EST CH  Windisle Inycon - Lindywheat's Back-Lightning) till kenneln. Hon fick två kullar (D och E kullen) där flertalet av valparna exporterades till USA, Ryssland och Kina.

Ja, då var vi framme i nutid. Gladöviks Alva (Leciha's Lord Phillipe The Mouse - Gladövik's Hoya) köptes in 2006 och har nyligen haft sin första valpkull (F kullen) tillsammans med SUCH Villa Rosas Peddyr, där vi sparade hanvalpen Flintstone hemma.

Well, now we are arrived in today. Gladöviks Alva (Leciha's Lord Phillipe The Mouse - Gladövik's Hoya) were bought at 2006 and has recently had a litter (F litter) together with SUCH Villa Rosas Peddyr, there we saved the male puppy Flintstone at home.

SUCH RUCH Crispas Bushman (Brösing's Good Hopes For Gold - Multich. Never Lasting´s A Star is Born) är kennelns stolthet. Han föddes i september år 2000 och är piggare och vackrare än nånsin. Han har avkommor i Sverige, USA, Ryssland och Kina.

SUCH RUCH Crispas Bushman (Brösing's Good Hopes For Gold - Multich. Never Lasting´s A Star is Born) is the pride of the kennel. He was born at September at 2000 and is more spirit and beautiful than ever before. He has offsprings in Sweden, USA, Russia and China.

The picture of him at the left is published in the Wheaten terrier clubs breeding compendium 2008, to guide judges and breeders how the breed shall looks like with the text: A male with excellent type!

Vår ryska import Bon Aquarel I Love You For Crispas (SUCH RUCH Crispas Bushman - MULTICH Wheaten Rebel's Evolution) kom till oss som 7 månaders valp 2006 från Sankt Petersburg.

Our russian import Bon Aquarel I Love You For Crispas (SUCH RUCH Crispas Bushman - MULTICH Wheaten Rebel's Evolution) came to us as a 7 month old pup 2006 from Saint Petersbourg.

Crispas Flintstone (Gladöviks Alva - SUCH Villa Rosas Peddyr) är en präktig valp som vi behöll ur vår senaste kull. Vi hoppas förstås att han ska få en lovande framtid.
